Debjit Mukherjee, Kolkata: Six more arrested in Jadavpur University student death case. In all, the number of arrests increased to nine. The names of these six accused are Mohammad Arif, Mohammad Asif Ajmal, Ankan Sardar, Saptak Kamilya, Asit Sardar and Suman Naskar.
It is known that Arif and Ankan are third year civil engineering students. Asif is a fourth year electrical engineering student. The rest Saptak, Asit and Suman are alumni of the university. Dean of Students Rajat Roy and Registrar Snehmanju Basu were also summoned by the police. Joint CP Crime called them to Lalbazar at 3 pm on Wednesday.
