Major success for Indian army on the seventh day of Anantnag army operation

Debjit Mukherjee: Indian army got major success on seventh day of army operation at Anantnag in Jammu and Kashmir. Joint forces killed Lashkar commander Uzer Khan on Tuesday. It is also reported that the body of an unidentified militant has been recovered. Army and police are looking for another terrorist. According to army sources, several weapons have been recovered.

ADGP of Kashmir Police Vijay Kumar said that the army recovered the weapons of the Lashkar commander. He said, “Lieutenant Commander Ujer Khan has been killed. Another militant’s body has been recovered. Though the army operation in Anantnag is over, the Indian Army is continuing the search operation.” The army also informed that there is still a large area which remains to be searched. There may be a lot of explosives. It will be recovered and destroyed. Local residents have been asked to stay away from the area. Army officials also believe that the body of another militant may be found.
