News Desk: Durga Puja, one of the famous festival for Hindus, is knocking at the door. The noticeable part of this festival is huge crowd under the lights. But this time things are going to be a bit different for the Bengali people as the entire nation is suffering terribly from Corona. West Bengal is recovering slowly and steadily, which is a good sign, but excessive crowd will hamper social distancing and it might increase the rate of Corona affected people in the state.
West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee said that organising Durga Puja this year is going to be a big challenge for the government. She said that the proposals of the ‘Global Advisory Board’ will be discussed in detail during a meeting with puja committees on September 25.
