Massive march of CPM in Keshpur in support of Brigade

NewsDesk: The Left Front staged a huge march in Keshpur to make the 28th February Brigade rally a success in protest of various anti-people policies of the central government and increase in prices of petroleum products.

Hundreds of CPM workers, supporters and Congress supporters marched from Keshpur Jamsed Bhavan to Anandapur with flags. Muhurmuhu slogan was raised in the procession, Brigade, let’s turn the tide and turn red.

The procession from the left was surrounded by police security from Keshpur to Anandapur to prevent any unrest and the police administration was quite active.

Paschim Midnapur CPIM district secretary Tarun Roy, CPIM state committee member Tapash Sinha, former MLA Rameshwar Dolai, CPIM’s Keshpur area committee leader Sheikh Niyamt, Ahmed Ali and other leaders joined the procession.

Although the Trinamool Congress came to power in the state in 2011, Rameshwar Dolai won the Keshpur assembly seat, but since then, all the party offices of the Left Front have been shut down. After eleven long years, the Left Front is desperate to regain its old lands. The excitement of the party workers and supporters surrounding the procession was eye-catching.
