News Desk: Speaker Biman Banerjee appointed Mukul Roy as chairperson of the Public Accounts Committee in the Assembly on Thursday. The saffron MLAs led by Suvendu Adhikari staged a walkout to protest this decision.
Adhikari said “According to the norm, an opposition MLA is usually appointed as the committee’s chairman. TMC has misused the rule”
