NCP chief Sharad Pawar will extend his support to West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee

News Desk: Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) chief Sharad Pawar will extend his support to West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and campaign for her in the election-bound state next week. He will also hold rallies, press conferences and meet Trinamool Congress (TMC) workers during his visit to the state.

While confirming Pawar’s schedule, Maharashtra NCP chief spokesperson Mahesh Tapase said, “NCP chief Sharad Pawar to campaign in West Bengal in support of Mamata Banerjee.”

“He will be on a three-day visit to the state from April 1, to hold various rallies, press conferences and meet Mamata Banerjee and TMC workers at Trinamool Bhavan,” he added.

The announcement has come amid Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) final push to woo the voters in West Bengal. BJP leaders Amit Shah, Rajnath Singh, and Yogi Adityanath will be addressing several public rallies in the state, while Mithun Chakraborty and Gautam Gambhir will be conducting roadshows.
