News Desk: AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi on Friday said that his party will not let Yogi Adityanath become the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh again in 2022. Addressing a rally, Owaisi said that it will be his party’s endeavour to ensure that the BJP does not return to power in the northern state.
“We will not allow Yogi to become the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh. If we work hard and we remain determined, then everything is possible. But it will be our endeavour to ensure that BJP does not come to power in Uttar Pradesh again” Owaisi said at a rally.
Of the 403 Assembly seats in Uttar Pradesh, the AIMIM is expected to contest 100 seats. Owaisi has joined hands with Om Prakash Rajbhar-led Bhagidari Sankalp Morcha (BSM) which consists of nine smaller parties. The party has also appointed functionaries in 75 seats.
