“Our fight has to continue against the Taliban in West Bengal”: Bengal BJP chief Sukanta Majumder

News Desk: The newly appointed Bengal BJP President Sukanta Majumder, on Tuesday, vowed that his party will continue to fight against the Taliban government of the state, i.e. the ruling TMC, and prevent the state from becoming Afghanistan.

“Our fight has to continue against the Taliban in West Bengal”: Sukanta Majumder

“TMC has become a family-owned property in the garb of a political party. Yet, the BJP is the party which gives important responsibilities to ordinary people. I thank people who are trying to save West Bengal from becoming Afghanistan.

BJP doesn’t run on a single leadership. It is the team that takes a decision, not an individual.

If some people think that by leaving BJP they will finish the party, it won’t happen. Our fight has to continue against the Taliban in West Bengal. If TMC dares to let us vote using central forces in local body polls, we’ll show them what BJP can do… We’ll perform better in upcoming elections, including panchayat, municipalities and Lok Sabha”

Sukanta Majumder replaced Dilip Ghosh as Bengal BJP chief

BJP President JP Nadda, on Monday, appointed Dilip Ghosh as national vice president and with his exit, Sukanta Majumder becomes the president of the BJP unit in West Bengal.

On his new role, Majumder said Dilip da has steered BJP to its current position as a strong opposition party in Bengal. He has made a significant contribution to its growth”

“I shall work towards further strengthening the sturdy foundation of our party created by Dilip da. We need to strengthen the BJP for the betterment of Bengal and Bengalis” he added.
