News Desk: TMC leader Sushmita Dev, on Tuesday, said that her only focus will be on Tripura in the coming days. She also made it clear that her main aim is to expose the government and police of Biplab Deb.
“I want to expose the government and police of Biplab Deb in front of everyone”: Sushmita Dev
When she was asked about BJP’s allegations that she was bringing in people from Assam to support her in the upcoming rally, she said “I have more support from the Tripura populace compared to the BJP. I came down here frequently with my father in the past. I have contacts with people at a grassroots level. Let the BJP in Tripura fix their relationship with the Barak BJP first. On one hand, the BJP is saying I have no support and on the other hand it is saying that I am bringing in people. How is that possible? This proves that they are lying”
“I want to expose the government and police of Biplab Deb in front of everyone. We will win in the court of the people” she added.

On Monday, Leader of Opposition Suvendu Adhikari tweeted “BJP will not nominate any candidate for Rajya Sabha bypoll due in West Bengal. Outcome is predetermined. Our focus is to make sure unelected CM to be unelected once again. Jai Ma Kali”
Reacting to this decision, industry minister Partha Chatterjee tweeted “BJP has lost its foothold and is scared to field any candidate for Rajya Sabha by-polls. The BJP is plagued by infighting. Sushmita Dev has submitted her nomination papers today”
