PM Modi attacked opposition on misleading farmers

News Desk: Prime Minister Narendra Modi, during addressing on the birth anniversary of party’s ideologue Deendayal Upadhyay, said that the opposition is lying and misleading the farmers for their own political benefit. He said “They are spreading rumours. Saving farmers from such rumours and explaining the importance of the agriculture reforms is the responsibility and duty of all BJP workers because we have to make the future of farmers bright”

He asked the BJP leaders to reach out to farmers and make them aware of the benefits of the new agriculture reforms and how it’ll increase their income. According to him, 85% of the peasant community is made of small and marginal farmers and they’ll benefit the most and it’ll give them an option to sell their produce outside agriculture ‘mandis’ for a better price.

Modi also praised the new labour laws passed by Parliament and said that it’ll ensure timely salary for over 50 crore organised and unorganised workers and also ordered his government to use its resources more on the deprived and the marginalised.
