News Desk: BKU farmers’ leader Rakesh Tikait has issued a threat to the Centre warning that ‘4 lakh tractors are on standby’. This comes as the farmers believe the government is ignoring their issues.
The agitation has been ongoing against the Centre’s three new farm laws which were passed by the Parliament of India in September 2020. Farmer unions and their representatives have been demanding the withdrawal of the laws and have stated that they will not accept a compromise.
