News Desk: Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Thursday announced financial assistance and jobs for the families of those killed in the Rampurhat fire incident. She also promised to repair the houses of the victims.
“The alternative to life is not money or jobs. But money is needed to run the family. It is a humanitarian duty to stand by the families of the victims” she said.
She also visited Rampurhat Hospital and met with the superintendent and took responsibility of the treatment of everyone.
Today, chief minister Mamata Banerjee also expressed anger over irresponsibility of police officers. She even ordered the arrest of Trinamool leader Anarul Hossain in this incident.
As per last update, Anarul Hossain has been arrested from Tarapith.
