RSS workers created ruckus during the shooting of a Malayalam film based on a Hindu-Muslim love story in temple premises

News Desk: Complaint has been filed over RSS workers creating ruckus during the shooting of a Malayalam film based on a Hindu-Muslim love story in temple premises. RSS workers have prevented the shooting of the film, ‘Neeyam Nadi,’ directed by Meenakshi Lakshman. The shooting was undertaken in Kadambazhipuram Vayilyam temple.

The film artists have also said shooting equipment were also destroyed by RSS workers. The film workers have said that RSS workers even threatened them that they won’t allow shooting the film, which talks about Hindu-Muslim love story anywhere in the district. The shooting of the film had commenced in the temple premises after taking prior permission from the temple authorities but reports say that Sanghparivar activists asked the film crew to narrate the story of the film, after hearing the story they denied the nod for film shooting. The film crew is now gearing up to shift the shooting of the film to some other place.
