News Desk: Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav on Saturday slammed the Yogi Adityanath led BJP government and claimed that everyone saw how BJP ended ended democracy during the block panchayat chief election.
He said “The Yogi Adityanath government ended democracy during the block panchayat chief election. Everyone saw that”
“BJP stooped to a new low and misused the system to destabilize and end democracy” he added.
Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra on Saturday met SP worker Anita Yadav who was manhandled and whose saree was yanked by BJP workers during the local election in Lakhimpur.
Welcoming her, he said “Anita Yadav and her family should get justice. Whatever happened to her should be condemned. Anyone standing for her should be welcomed”
Akhilesh Yadav also attacked the BJP and said “The ground reality of BJP is that it will be cleared in the next election. The BJP did not follow its own manifesto. The party has failed to deliver the promises”
“They can hold one meeting after another, but cannot complete one work. People will respond” he added.
