TMC moved resolution against farm laws; BJP MLAs walked out chanting Jai Shree Ram

News Desk: The ruling TMC government of West Bengal moved a resolution against the farm laws on Thursday in the middle of ruckus in the state assembly. As soon as the resolution was tabled, BJP MLAs led by Manoj Tigga rushed to the Well of the House to protest and later walked out chanting ‘Jai Shree Ram’.

Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee said “BJP always maligns every agitation as terrorist activity. The laws are totally anti farmer. They pushed it in Parliament using brute force. We will not accept farmers being branded as traitors”

She added “PM should convene all-party meeting to discuss withdrawal of farm laws. Either you withdraw the laws or leave the chair”

Speaking about the protesters clash with police and storming into the Red Fort on 26th January she said “Delhi police is to be blamed for that. What was the Delhi police doing? It was a complete intelligence failure. We will not tolerate farmers being branded as traitors. They are the assets of this nation”

She further added “Congress and Left Front keep aside ideological differences and come together in support of the farmers”
