Tripura: Tripura HC denied permission to TMC to rally

News Desk: The Tripura High Court has denied permission to TMC national general secretary Abhishek Banerjee to rally in the state in connection with the attack on newspaper office and it’s journalists and murder of TMC workers by BJP goons.

“Court didn’t interfere with the state government’s order”: A source in Tripura HC

“Court didn’t interfere with the state government’s order. So far, there’s no permission to conduct rally in the state”

Why TMC wanted to rally in Tripura?

The BJP ruling Tripura is marked with violence by the ruling party goons in the recent days. On September 8, the state witnessed attack on newspaper office and it’s journalists. BJP goons ransacked the premises and burnt all documents and destroyed equipments. The state also witnessed vandalising of CPI(M) offices. The opposition offices and vehicles were also set on fire by the BJP goons.

Earlier TMC youth leaders were attacked and were jailed in Tripura for campaigning the state. TMC leaders from West Bengal were also attacked. Even the IPAC team of Prashant Kishor also faced harassment in the state.

News of murder of TMC workers by BJP goons is going on almost on a daily basis in the state. Recently an RSS worker was brutally tortured by BJP goons when he decided to join TMC. Later, he was admitted to a hospital in Kolkata, with the help of TMC national general secretary Abhishek Banerjee, and is currently undergoing treatment.

So, the TMC decided to go for a protest rally in the state.
