Bengal BJP: Dilip Ghosh appointed as national vice president, Sukanta Majumder becomes state president

News Desk: BJP President JP Nadda, on Monday, appointed Dilip Ghosh as national vice president and with his exit, Sukanta Majumder becomes the president of the BJP unit in West Bengal.

“I think this is a recognition of my work and contribution”: Dilip Ghosh

“Nadda ji called this afternoon and said I am being moved to the national stage. I think this is a recognition of my work and contribution. I had also said BJP leadership in Bengal needs parivartan to meet the new demands of society and the party.

There has been some mistake during the polls, we are analysing that. This was the first time we fought to win Bangla, we were not totally successful. We will change our strategy before the next fight. The new president will need time to prepare since the panchayat polls are due in a year and a half. We are all with him”

“We need to strengthen the BJP for the betterment of Bengal and Bengalis”: Sukanta Majumder

“Dilip da has steered BJP to its current position as a strong opposition party in Bengal. He has made a significant contribution to its growth.

I shall work towards further strengthening the sturdy foundation of our party created by Dilip da. We need to strengthen the BJP for the betterment of Bengal and Bengalis”
