News Desk: Two aides of Suvendu have been arrested for the possession of arms when the cops intercepted the vehicle. The alias was identified as Arman Bhola and Arunava Kuity. The police recovered two country-made firearms, one semi-automatic pistol from Haldia, and seven live rounds of fire from their possession.
At the same time, BJP leader and the opposition in State Assembly Suvendu Adhikari held a meeting with the other party MLAs regarding the post-poll violence happening in the state. The car has been seized, and the two members are booked under section 25A of the Arms Act. Sources tell that Arman Bhola was involved in the arms business for a long time and was trying to deal with illegal arms. He also attempted to bring arms from foreign countries.
