News Desk: The West Bengal State Police on Friday has agreed to release Balwinder Singh, the Sikh man who was arrested with firearms from Howrah Maidan at the ‘Nabanna Chalo‘ protest and also assured his family that all allegations against him, including possession of firearms, will be dropped. In addition chief minister Mamata Banerjee has also sent a salwar suit on the occassion of ‘Durga Puja‘ to his wife Karamjit Kaur, who earlier decided to go for a strike outside the Nabanna in demand of her husband’s justice.
Happy with the decision president of the Delhi Sikh Gurudwara Management Committee and spokesperson of the Akali Dal. Manjinder Singh Sirsa tweeted “Special thanks to @MamataOfficial Ji for the assurance given by DGP of Bengal Police towards justice to Karamjeet Kaur, wife of ex-armyman Balwinder Singh Mamta Ji has also sent a suit for Karamjit Kaur which is the most beautiful gift given to her during Bengal Pooja”
