News Desk: When it comes to Indian politics, it’s Narendra Modi led BJP versus the Gandhi family led Indian National Congress. The rivals slam each other on a daily basis on both social media platforms and press conferences. Things gone worse after suspension of MPs for opposing the farm bills and the cop harassment on the Gandhis on their way to Hathras.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi during inaugurations takes dig at the Gandhi’s Congress whereas the former Congress president Rahul Gandhi slams him on Twitter. Now the question is why the Prime Minister mostly hits out at the Congress during inaugurations? Even today while inaugurating the Atal Tunnel he took a dig at his arch rival.
The first reason might be Prime Minister avoids answering press conferences. So it’s the only path which he can use to slam the Gandhis. As people are fond of new projects, so it acts as a trump card for him. On one hand, while inaugurating new projects he can show people what his government is doing during his reign. And on the other hand, this compare and contrast will help him to vilify the Gandhis in the eyes of the nation.
The second big reason can be diverting people’s mind from the current crisis the nation is going through. Under his reign, the nation witnessed highest unemployment rate and a miserable GDP. So inaugaration of new projects will take people’s mind away from the main crisis.
