News Desk: The ruling TMC’s transport minister Firhad Hakim slammed the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) over not visiting the family of a BJP worker who committed suicide.
Mr Hakim said “The one who committed suicide is my friend Indrajit Sen. Last year, BJP mislead him and he joined the saffron party. He was ashamed of that and was unable to contact me. He committed suicide last night”
Alleging that the saffron party did not visited Sen’s family, he said “BJP has no particular organization structure. The ones they misleaded last year are coming back. They contacted me when I was campaigning door to door. They want to come back”
When asked about vote casting in Bhawanipore, Mr Hakim said “Yes vote casting will be good. Not like normal elections, but casting of votes has been good since morning”
