BJP leaders reacted to chief minister Mamata Banerjee’s mantra reciting at the Nandigram rally

News Desk: West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee’s mantra reciting at the Nandigram rally on Tuesday faced criticisms from her arch rival Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

Union Minister Giriraj Singh “Today, Didi is reciting Chandipath. What not this election is making you do? She is nervous ahead of the West Bengal Assembly polls. She doesn’t know whether to go to a Masjid or a mandir”

In a tweet, her former confidante and challenger this year, Suvendu Adhikari said “Earlier the CM insulted Lord Ram more than once. Then, she wrongly recited the Saraswati Mantra. Again, she has recited the mantra wrongly at a public meeting”

West Bengal BJP leader Arjun Singh also reacted to this and said “The BJP has taught Mamata Banerjee what Hinduism is and has brought her back on track. Earlier, we would see her performing namaaz and wear the hijab. She is determined to prove she is a Hindu by reciting the Chandipath. Tomorrow, she will read the Ramayana and the day after the Hanuman Chalisa. She was changing her religion, at least we got her back on track”
