News Desk: 38-year-old BJP worker Uday Mandal was shot in Mothabari on Tuesday. He is in charge of eight booths in Mothabari constituency in Malda district. He has been admitted to the Malda Medical College and Hospital for treatment after being shot.
The victim’s elder brother Siben Mandal said, “I was informed by some people that Uday has been shot. After that I reached the spot and asked who did it, then he took the name of Chobilal Mandal and other local TMC leaders”
Malda SP Alok Rajoria said over the phone that they have started investigating this incident.
