Contribution came from Under 19 captain Priyam Garg who scored his maiden IPL fifty 51 off 26 balls. Abhishek Sharma and Manish Pandey contributed too.
Coming to chase 165 Chennai lost 4 quick wickets at the score of 38. A steady partnership between Ravindra Jadeja and MS Dhoni took Chennai past 150. Ravindra Jadeja topped the batting chart with his 50 off 35 balls. Dhoni scored an impressive 47 and a short cameo of Sam Curran couldn’t help the Super Kings cross the finish line.
