Is there a plan going on to set Sikhs against Mamata Banerjee?

News Desk: Balwinder Singh’s wife expressed her desire to meet chief minister Mamata Banerjee for demanding justice for her husband Balwinder Singh. The Sikh community claimed that the turban collapse during police beating is a sign of disrespect for them. His wife Karamjit Kaur met with governor Jagdeep Dhankar and in an interview she said “We asked the Governor to look into the matter and give us justice. My husband is not guilty. He has served the country for 20 years. I pray before Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee to release him and not to treat him like a terrorist”

Shiromani Akali Dal’s Manjinder Singh Sirsa also met with the governor regarding Singh’s justice. After the meeting he tweeted “We met with Governor @jdhankar Ji today along with Balwinder Singh wife and son. We shared with him how an ex armyman who has fought for the country is being treated unjustly by @WBPolice. Hon’ble Governor has assured us of discussing it with WB Govt & ensuring justice for him”

Now the question is that is there a plan going on to set Sikhs against Mamata Banerjee? The BJP is already in back foot after the Hathras gang rape incident as they lost a portion of Hindu votes, so they’ll try to gain a community’s vote to keep their hopes alive in the upcoming 2021 West Bengal elections. Is governor Jagdeep Dhankar in action to capture Sikh votes before the upcoming elections?

In his recent tweet also he made an attempt to vilify the ruling party over the blast that took place in a club at Kolkata’s Beliaghata area on Tuesday along with Manish Shukla murder and Balwinder Singh’s turban collapse incident. He labelled the TMC party as “principal violators”.
