Mamata Banerjee instructed to provide adequate hospital beds and ambulances

News Desk: West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee at a virtual meeting at Nabanna instructed providing of adequate number of hospital beds and masks and also directed the police and district administration officials to keep an eye on whether everyone is wearing masks. The meeting was attended by Chief Secretary, Home Secretary, Health Secretary, State Security Adviser, DG of State Police, Commissioner of Police in Kolkata, Commissioner of Calcutta and Howrah Corporation, Disaster Management and other senior officials. Also present were all the district magistrates, superintendents of police, other police commissioners and district health officers.

She directed “Every person in Bengal should get ambulance, hospital bed and all kinds of help during the puja. Everyone should wear a mask. Police and district administration officials should take care whether everyone is wearing masks or not”
