News Desk: Political tension in West Bengal is rising day by day as election is knocking at the door. Addressing a rally in Chandrakona on Monday, TMC MP Abhishek Banerjee said voting BJP and bringing them to power in Bengal means inviting own trouble. He also claimed that Medinipore will be Modinipore like Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel Stadium got renamed into Narendra Modi Stadium.
He said “Voting BJP and bringing them to power in Bengal means inviting your own trouble. They renamed Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel Stadium into Narendra Modi Stadium. Similarly Medinipore will be Modinipore if they come to power”
He added “BJP is saying that they will win 200 seats. First win 200 booths. Then think about winning seats”
On the attack on Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee he said “By attacking on a woman, you’ll bring your own damage. BJP don’t know how to respect women. They are trying to win Bengal forcefully like Madhya Pradesh and Bihar. When CPI(M) can’t stop us, how come you people are thinking of stopping us? You can’t stop us by attacking”
He also complained about Election Commission. “Even Election Commission is attempting to cancel the nomination of TMC candidates”
