“The Chief Minister briefed the PM that the COVID-19 situation in West Bengal is under control”: Official 

News Desk: Prime Minister Narendra Modi conducted a video conference with the chief ministers on Tuesday regarding the COVID 19 situation in their state. An official said that West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee said that the COVID-19 situation in her state is being addressed aptly.

The official said “The Chief Minister briefed the PM that the COVID-19 situation in West Bengal is under control. She apprised the PM about the discharge rate among the COVID-19 patients in the state and informed him that the number of new infections is on the decline” 

The official added “Mamata Banerjee also reminded the PM of the GST dues”
