News Desk: A day after senior TMC leader Subrata Mukherjee died while being treated for cardiac ailments in Kolkata, West Bengal minister Firhad Hakim alleged that the BJP and central agencies like the CBI and the Enforcement Directorate (ED) were responsible for his demise.
“We lost many people because of the political revenge that BJP has taken” Firhad Hakim said adding that the veteran politician was hurt by the probe against him.
We have lost many TMC leaders due to this political revenge by the saffron party, he claimed.
Reacting to this, BJP leader Dilip Ghosh said that the TMC leader was already 75 and said it is sad that people are making his death a political issue.
He was unwell for some time and succumbed to his illness, Ghosh added.
