News Desk: Addressing a rally at Garbeta in West Midnapore on Thursday, West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee attacked her arch rival Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Below are the updates of what she said
- “I was injured a few days ago. There is blood clot in the legs even after dressing. I have been hurt before. But the leg was right. But my heart was hurt by that leg injury”

- “The proclamation says rations at the door after the election. Pension for 18-year-old widows. All Scheduled Castes will be paid Rs 1,000 if we come to power. Rs 10,000 or tabs will be given once students reaches class XII. Student credit card for students. Minority scholarships have been given to students. Student credit card for students in future. The card will have Rs 10 lakh, interest will be 4 per cent. Medical, engineering and school fees can be paid from the card money”

- “The central government is taking away the rights of farmers. No one is getting gas in Ujwala scheme of the center. We have reduced unemployment by 40% and we are aiming to make it 50% now. The goal is to fertilize 25,000 acres of barren land in the Matir Srishti Scheme. I give you guards and even money in events of accident. I have brought the migrant workers of my state from other states by hiring a train. I won’t let a single family to get eliminated from Bengal”
