Debjit Mukherjee: Future of India alliance in danger. AAP-Congress conflict in open again. AAP criticized the education system of Congress-ruling Chhattisgarh, which Congress does not see well.
Assembly polls in Chhattisgarh this year. Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said during the election campaign on Saturday, “The state of government schools in Congress-ruling Chhattisgarh is horrible. Look at the schools in Delhi. If you have any relatives in Delhi, ask them. You will know how good the government schools in Delhi are. For the first time after independence, a government is spending so much on school education.”
However, Congress leader Pawan Khera countered. He said, “Why compare Delhi schools with Chhattisgarh schools? Compare Chhattisgarh with the previous BJP government. Earlier each school had one teacher in 10 classes. BJP has closed many schools. Do with them. Congress government in Chhattisgarh is doing a good job. What is the need for Kejriwal to go there? If you have to compare, then compare yourself with the previous Congress government. We are open to debate on any sector.”
