Keshpur Police Station celebrated Safe Drive Save Life programme

News Desk: The state government’s Safe Drive Save Life program fell in the fifth year. This program is being celebrated all over the state including Keshpur. On this day, on the initiative of Keshpur Police Station, a march was held at Keshpur Bazar and Central Bus Stand ahead of the fifth anniversary of Safe Drive Save Life.

Police alert pedestrians and bike riders. Also, all bike riders who do not have helmets on their heads are requested to wear helmets. Along with special awareness, passers-by were given masks, chocolates and roses.

Keshpur Police Station Officer-in-Charge Anjani Kumar Tewari and other officers and civic volunteers were present on the occasion.

Keshpur police officials said that this was an initiative to avoid the accident.

According to police statistics, the number of accidents has decreased a lot since the project was launched. Besides, the state is moving ahead with the target of reducing the number of accidents in the future. The number of accidents in West Bengal has already come down significantly as compared to other states.
