News Desk: West Bengal Chief Secretary Alapan Bandyopadhyay denied BJP’s allegation of using chemical mixed waters at the ‘Nabanno Chalo’ protest. The Union Law Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad and youth wing president Tejaswi Surya alleged that the waters used had chemical in it and that’s the reason people were vomiting.
Bandyopadhyay said “No chemical was used in cannon water. It is wrong information. Globally, the intent to use coloured water is to identify a person post dispersal for further necessary action as per the law, if required”
