Debjit Mukherjee, Kolkata: “No notice from CBI so far, it’s a political conspiracy” fire minister Sujit Bose opened up about the CBI summons.
He said, “I have been saying since the beginning that I have not received the CBI’s letter. If I am called, I will certainly go. I will cooperate. However, some media outlets have claimed that I have been summoned on August 31. I have not received any notice so far. I do not have the letter. If those media outlets have, then they should show.”
He also said, “I have been doing politics for the last 40 years. Many people love me. I have been defamed by spreading wrong news. The sentiments of those I love are being hurt. I will file a defamation case if necessary to stop it. There must be a conspiracy behind spreading this news. It needs to be investigated. Let the guilty be punished.”
