News Desk: West Bengal chief minster Mamata Banerjee on Tuesday announced jobs for families of those who lost their lives in Maoist violence and man-animal conflict in the tribal Jangalmahal area. She said “One member from each family who have lost their near and dear ones to Maoist violence or are missing for more than a decade will be provided with financial compensation of Rs 4 lakh and a job in the state home guard force”
She added “We will also provide jobs to one member from each family who have lost their kin in attacks by elephants in the area”
